3 Tips to Solve 80% of Identification Issues

Drawing identification is simple and efficient, however the drawings are not always ideal to perform identifying. What can we do when the identification result is bad? Here we present you 3 tricks to cope with 80% of the drawing issues.

 

Drawings imported but with useless and disturbing hatches

Tip#1:When importing drawings, un-tick Import hatches when importing CAD/PDF drawing

Failed to separate column and wall when they are in the same layer and same color

 

Tip#2:Choose “Select by color”, and set the suitable condition for column in Identification Options (This setting is only available for Select by color).

Beams didn't extend to each other after being identified

 

Tip#3: Adjust the tolerance of auto extension for beam end and identify again
